"When I think of a Gladiator, my first thoughts are of the movie in which my good friend, Oliver Reed starred as Proximo and delivered the line “Win the crowd, and you will win your freedom.” I believe if you give Gladiator Skool a read, it may be the first step in preventing or overcoming addiction…and truthfully winning your freedom.”

ABOUT Landon Brock
Founder and Author of Gladiator Skool
If you're reading this, you must be here for a reason. A little bit about myself. First, I'm a dreamer, but I’m also a doer. Secondly, I'm a recovering drug addict and I recognize that. In doing so, it allows me to live a freer life because I know what I can and can't do anymore. Knowing what I can and cannot do, and from all my experiences, now allows my brain to future dictate and control the options I face every day in a way that is better than I ever could have before when I was addicted and didn’t realize it. Recognize who you are. I'm an ex-convict, ex-heroin addict and ex-all-around career criminal. I've been to prison three separate times. I can't even keep count of the times I’ve been to county jail. I guess you could say I'm institutionalized because of the lifestyle I was programmed into. It'll always be with me but I'm ever evolving and trying to grow mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. I believe there are three major things it takes to change your life: your outlook, your presence, and the 3Gs but I'll get to those later.......
When I first started writing this book, I had no clue where it would take me and I'm still not sure. But so far, my life has drastically changed in the last year during this process. Each day I grow stronger spiritually and closer to God. Physically, I’m still fighting. For the past 26 months, I've had to relearn how to walk due to nerve damage in my back.
Everyone is different. So much so, in fact, that we go through great lengths to get things personalized and/or customized. Everyone has different tastes and opinions, so I want to apply that philosophy to the recovery community. My goal is to use this book to fund and start a half-way house. All those trying to recover are telling stories, which are unique to them, but oh so common. I feel that I'm here to shake things up a bit. Don't get me wrong. I embrace all forms of recovery and clinical ideation. But I believe it could be done better. And when you read my book, you'll find out why I've seen and experienced death and sadness. I've also brought life into this world, and I've saved a few while I was at it. This is a story of addiction, homelessness, sorrow, pain, prison, good things, and bad. You will even see things from a parent's perspective, and how you can change things and help others while simultaneously helping yourself. I'm helping myself right now just by relaying this message to you.
With love and conviction, Landon Brock
“Gladiator Skool is a true and enlightening account of what can happen if you allow drugs to take control of your life.”
“I know the power of drugs as my birth mother was an addict. It's important for others to know how to assist those in recovery and provide the support and tough love necessary during this process. Landon provides an insider's perspective, one that is vital to others who seek to assist the addict with their recovery and return to normalcy. I commend and congratulate Landon for having the courage to tell his story!”
